Hello, all! I've been working in corporate for the past ~20 years, primarily as a revenue operator overseeing GTM strategy and operations. I've been working at the exec level since 2015 and recently decided to move out of the corporate world and into non-profit/women's advocacy instead.
I've been doing research on various organizations and one in particular that has caught my attention is called EMILY's List. I wondered if anyone here is connected to this organization and could help me get a warm introduction to the senior team there?
I don't have a strong network outside of tech so I'm definitely open to any and all suggestions.
I've made corporate America hundreds of millions of dollars as a CMO and I'd really like to channel that talent and energy into something positive that will help all women advance and succeed, not old white men who are already super rich are hoard their wealth and power.
Thank you so much in advance for any support, feedback, ideas or suggestions that you can provide as I make this pivot. 💜
Congratulations Jen! I’m on the same journey, I work a lot with local domestic violence shelters who in turn work with the national level organizations. Im happy to connect you, but also I’ll DM you additional orgs I’m thinking about.
Jen if you want any support with the career transition from a coaching perspective, I’m happy to jump on a call with you. This is all in my “wheel house”.
@Erin do you happen to know anyone at the ACLU? They have a CSO role open there as well.
Thank you so much, Erin!! 💜❤️💜
I also know the CEO + President of IWPR (Institute for Women’s Policy + Research) very well. Happy to intro you to Nicole Mason too.
I know the President of Emily’s List, Laphonza Butler. I will intro you over LinkedIn. 🙌🏾
