Where would one expect pay to be on this. I'm not sure how to advise a friend.
Role is in Canada. It's a 1B distributor for a Fortune 50 US based company.
Any help as to what to ask and clarify when defining a role like this is appreciated.

So... I got tapped for a new role at XXX on Friday! Completely out of nowhere for me, but Apparently almost 2 yrs in the making. They were waiting for me to come back from mat leave!
It's for Director of Digital, Chief Digital Officer, or something along those lines. It's new, so role and title are still being defined, but proposed scope is huge (all digital/data related). I will be reporting directly to one of the VPs for now, because they honestly don't know where to put it and our CEO is retiring, and replacement has not been selected. So I'll be playing with the big dogs now!
This is a huge jump for me from current Product Support Manager role. 😳 Meeting next week with CEO, VP and HR to hash out details (job description, title, pay, transition, etc.). Pretty crazy!
I know you’re in great hands with Erin! It sounds to me like she should 100% go for a Chief Digital Officer role rather than Director of Digital. In my world, there’s a huge gap between those two titles, and a huge salary difference to match. At the very least, VP of Digital Marketing. I’m happy to talk through that with you or her as well!
Love this. Hell yes. Let’s go get her a sh*t ton of money. I’d love to hop on the phone and talk her through it. Can you have her book time with me? She can book directly on the Ella website.
